The Challenge
Many of our roads, bridges, and water systems are aging and in need of repair or replacement. Years of deferred maintenance have created a backlog of projects that affect the quality of life for residents and the economic competitiveness of our district.
My Plan
Fix Our Roads
- Prioritize repair and maintenance of the most-used roads
- Use data-driven approaches to identify and address road problems before they become costly
- Support complete streets that are safe for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike
- Advocate for fair funding that reflects the needs of District 3
Modernize Water Systems
- Address aging water infrastructure to prevent leaks and ensure water quality
- Support water conservation and recycling programs
- Invest in stormwater management to prevent flooding
- Plan for the impacts of climate change on our water supply
Expand Broadband Access
- Support programs that expand high-speed internet to underserved areas
- Partner with internet service providers to improve service quality
- Advocate for broadband as essential infrastructure
My Record
On the City Council, I successfully advocated for increased funding for road repair and championed a complete streets policy that made our roads safer for everyone.
