Infrastructure

The Challenge

Many of our roads, bridges, and water systems are aging and in need of repair or replacement. Years of deferred maintenance have created a backlog of projects that affect the quality of life for residents and the economic competitiveness of our district.

My Plan

Fix Our Roads

  • Prioritize repair and maintenance of the most-used roads
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify and address road problems before they become costly
  • Support complete streets that are safe for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike
  • Advocate for fair funding that reflects the needs of District 3

Modernize Water Systems

  • Address aging water infrastructure to prevent leaks and ensure water quality
  • Support water conservation and recycling programs
  • Invest in stormwater management to prevent flooding
  • Plan for the impacts of climate change on our water supply

Expand Broadband Access

  • Support programs that expand high-speed internet to underserved areas
  • Partner with internet service providers to improve service quality
  • Advocate for broadband as essential infrastructure

My Record

On the City Council, I successfully advocated for increased funding for road repair and championed a complete streets policy that made our roads safer for everyone.
